Aspire Nautilus 2S Replacement Coils

The Aspire Nautilus 2S replacement coils are designed for use with the Aspire Nautilus 2S tank. The Nautilus 2S uses a vertically-oriented coil design with a mesh or BVC element that draws e-liquid from the bottom of the coil head. These coils are available in multiple resistances to cover the full range of mouth-to-lung and restricted direct-to-lung vaping styles.

Available Resistances

• 0.4ohm Mesh — restricted DTL, recommended 23-28W, more vapour, warmer draw

• 0.7ohm Mesh — versatile MTL/RDL, recommended 20-25W

• 1.6ohm BVC — tight MTL, recommended 7-12W, ideal for high-strength nic salts

• 1.8ohm BVC — very tight MTL, recommended 6-10W, closest to a cigarette draw

Which Resistance for Which Style?

The 1.8ohm coil gives the tightest, most cigarette-like draw of the range and is the natural choice for vapers who have recently stopped smoking. At 6-10W, it runs efficiently on low-powered devices and pairs best with 20mg nic salts or high-strength freebase. The 0.4ohm mesh coil is for those who want a more open, airy draw with more vapour — suitable for lower-strength liquids and a more experienced vaping style.

Compatibility

The Nautilus 2S coils are compatible with the Aspire Nautilus 2S tank. The 0.7ohm and 0.4ohm mesh coils are also compatible with the Nautilus X and Nautilus XS tanks. BVC coils (1.6ohm, 1.8ohm) work across multiple Nautilus variants. Always check your specific tank model before ordering.

Pack Size and Replacement Frequency

Sold as a pack of 5 coils. Under average use, a coil lasts 1 to 2 weeks. Sweetened e-liquids shorten coil life — menthol and unflavoured liquids preserve coils longest. Replace when you notice a burnt or diminished taste.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these the same as the original Nautilus coils? The Nautilus 2S uses the same BVC coil format as earlier Nautilus tanks for the higher-resistance options. The mesh coils (0.4ohm, 0.7ohm) are specific to the 2S and compatible Nautilus variants.

What is the best coil for 20mg nic salts? The 1.6ohm or 1.8ohm BVC coil. Both give a tight draw that matches the cigarette-style delivery that makes nic salts work well at high strengths.
