Big Juice Nicotine Salt Shot is a nicotine salt-based nic shot designed to be added to a shortfill e-liquid. Unlike standard freebase nic shots, the salt nicotine formula produces a smoother throat hit at the resulting strength - a useful difference for vapers who find freebase shortfills too harsh at 3mg or who want a cleaner experience from their shortfill mix.

About Big Juice Nicotine Salt Shot 18mg

Nicotine shots are used to add nicotine to a 50ml shortfill e-liquid, which is supplied at 0mg to stay within TPD regulations on bottle sizes. The standard approach is to add one 10ml, 18mg nic shot to a 50ml shortfill to produce 60ml at approximately 3mg nicotine. Big Juice's version uses nicotine salt rather than freebase nicotine as the base, which alters the throat hit profile at the finished strength.

The practical difference is that a salt-based nic shot produces a smoother result than a freebase shot at the same final nicotine level. For vapers who use high-VG shortfills in sub-ohm setups and find even 3mg freebase slightly rough on the throat, switching to a salt nic shot for the mix is a straightforward improvement without changing the e-liquid itself.

At 18mg in a 10ml bottle, one shot added to a 50ml shortfill produces approximately 3mg in 60ml. Two shots added to 50ml of shortfill would make 70ml at approximately 5.1mg, so they do not fit in a 60ml bottle, which has room for one. The unflavoured formula means it takes on the flavour of whichever shortfill you mix it into. Compatible with all standard shortfills.
