The Sector coil fits the HorizonTech Falcon 2, the successor to the original Falcon tank. The 0.14ohm resistance sits deep in sub ohm territory, so this is a coil built for cloud production first and foremost.

Sub ohm vaping and e-liquid choice

Sub ohm coils like the Sector vaporise a lot of e-liquid on every puff, which produces large amounts of vapour. To support that, we recommend using these coils with a high VG e-liquid, which is thicker and carries more vapour than a thinner blend. A 70/30 or 80/20 VG/PG shortfill suits the Falcon 2 well.

Tips for the best results

• Let a new coil sit filled for five to ten minutes before firing so the wicking material saturates fully.

• Keep an eye on your e-liquid level. Sub ohm coils run through a tank quickly and a dry wick burns fast.

• Replace the coil when flavour starts to dull, which is the usual sign a sub ohm coil is reaching the end of its life.
