The Oxva VPrime 2 is a direct-to-lung (DTL) pod kit with a 3400mAh battery, 60W maximum output and dual mesh pods. It is built for vapers who want long battery life, dense vapour and an open, airy draw from a device that still fits in a pocket.
About the Oxva VPrime 2
The hero image below shows the full launch feature set at a glance. The VPrime 2 is a substantial upgrade over the original VPrime. Battery capacity grew by 30%, from 2600mAh to 3400mAh, and charging speed rose from 5V/2A to 5V/3A over USB-C, reaching around 50% in about 20 minutes. Output runs from 5W up to 60W, and a highly sensitive airflow sensor fires the device within 0.01 seconds of your inhale. A manual fire button is there as well, so you can use auto-draw or button firing.
A one-slide lock switch on the side locks the device instantly, so it cannot fire in a bag or pocket. The 0.98-inch dynamic smart screen keeps power, battery level and mode visible at a glance, and the single button handles everything else. Three clicks adjust the wattage, four switch between BOOST and ECO mode, and five turn the device on or off. BOOST prioritises maximum flavour and cloud, while ECO trades a little power for longer battery and pod life.
Flavour comes from the new dual mesh pod design. Two mesh elements heat more evenly than a single coil, spreading heat across a larger wick surface, which keeps flavour consistent through the life of each pod. UNITECH 3.0 adds a U-shaped airway for a smoother draw and an enlarged condensate chamber for cleaner, more leak-resistant use. Airflow adjusts from the side of the device, tuning the draw from a tighter restricted pull to a wide-open DTL experience.
Pods and compatibility
The UK version ships with 2ml TPD-compliant dual mesh cartridges: a 0.4 ohm cartridge pre-installed and a 0.6 ohm cartridge as the spare. Both are top-filling and work with freebase or nic salt e-liquids. The cross-compatibility guide below shows how the ranges fit together. The VPrime 2 also takes the original VPrime cartridges in 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 ohm, so if you already own the first VPrime you can carry your cartridges over.
The 0.4 ohm dual mesh cartridge
OXVA rates the 0.4 ohm dual mesh cartridge at 10 to 40W. The infographic below breaks the design down: because the two mesh elements share the heating load, heat spreads evenly across the wick, which is what gives a DTL pod its dense vapour and steady flavour. Both supplied cartridges are built for direct-to-lung vaping rather than a tight, cigarette-style draw. If you prefer something more restricted, the original 0.8 ohm VPrime cartridge is the better fit.
