About the Voopoo Drag S3

Voopoo put the GENE.TT 2.0 chip into the Drag S3, which reads resistance in 0.01 seconds and auto-adjusts wattage to match whatever pod you fit. If you install a 1.2 ohm pod it runs at a lower wattage for a tight MTL draw. Fit the 0.4 ohm pod and it steps up to a warmer, more open restricted DTL hit. You can also adjust wattage manually through the OLED display if the auto-setting is not quite where you want it.

The 3000mAh battery is a solid step up from most pod kits in the compact form factor range. Most vapers get a full day at moderate usage without needing to charge. USB-C keeps recharging convenient, and the charge rate is reasonable enough to top up during a lunch break. The device body is zinc alloy and leather, which gives it a premium feel in the hand relative to its price point.

The Drag S3 uses the PnP X pod system, which is a side-fill 5ml pod (2ml in the TPD version for the UK market). The pods are compatible with the wider PnP and PnP X coil range, which gives you access to a broad selection of coil resistances beyond the two included in the box. Dimensions are 124.25 x 33 x 28mm — compact enough to pocket comfortably but substantial enough to hold without feeling flimsy.
