AS 4.0 Chipset and Firing Speed

The AS 4.0 is Geekvape's latest chipset and delivers one of the fastest firing responses in the segment. The 0.001-second fire time is a meaningful improvement over older chipsets in terms of how immediately the coil responds to the fire button. This matters most in temperature control and at lower resistances where wicking speed is critical — the coil fires before the wick has had a chance to run dry, reducing dry hits and improving coil life.

The 510-thread connection is compatible with any standard tank. At 200W output, the Legend 5 can drive high-power sub-ohm tanks like the Smok TFV Mini V2 comfortably. For a mid-power setup, running 60-100W with a 0.2-0.3ohm coil is a common configuration. The Geekvape L200 tank is designed as a companion to the Legend 5.

Batteries
