The Vaporesso Armour Ultra Mod is the standalone version of the Armour Ultra, sold without a tank. It carries a 5500mAh internal battery, 100W AXON Boost chipset and triple-rated ruggedisation — built for vapers who want high-capacity, high-durability performance and already own the tank they want to pair it with.
About the Vaporesso Armour Ultra Mod
Vaporesso fitted the Armour Ultra Mod with a 5500mAh integrated battery — the same capacity as two 18650 cells in a conventional dual-battery mod, but in a body that is 25% smaller and lighter than the Armour S it replaces. At 45 to 55W through a 0.4 ohm coil you can expect roughly two days of mixed DTL vaping between charges. USB-C fast charging at 9V/2A fills it from flat in approximately one hour, and pass-through vaping works while plugged in.
The AXON Boost chipset runs five modes: Smart, Boost, Pulse, ECO and Temperature Control. Boost pushes peak power at the start of each puff for a sharper initial hit. Pulse holds steady power across the puff length for consistent flavour. ECO caps output to stretch battery life. Smart reads the coil resistance automatically and sets wattage without any input from you. TC covers stainless steel and Ni200 builds with accurate temperature limiting.
The triple ruggedisation rating — IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H — means it is dust-tight, can sit underwater for 30 minutes at one metre depth, survives high-pressure water jets, and has been drop-tested at 1.2 metres across 26 impact angles. The 0.96-inch colour OLED shows wattage, resistance, battery percentage, mode and a puff counter clearly at a glance. The 510 connection sits flush with 25mm tanks and accepts 26mm with minor overhang.
